New Year – New changes

The New Year is always exciting for the team at Time Lifestyle Management, not only do we find ourselves assisting our existing clients with their on-going needs, we receive many enquiries from potential new clients who find themselves in very difficult or different situations and need our help.

Downsizing is quite a common request in the New Year, and we have a number of clients who have contacted us and used our knowledge and expertise to assist them with this process.

There are many reasons for downsizing; recently widowed and the property is too big for them to run alone, or their family have all left home and they no longer need a family house.

You may decide to rent your existing property out, but either way this can be a very daunting, difficult and emotional time as there is so much to sort out, but we have found by being on hand to help and advise our
clients, gives them absolute piece of mind.

Finding a new property

This may be a retirement home or you may be purchasing a property, in which case you will need to take into consideration many factors to suit your lifestyle.

Arranging removals

We suggest you obtain at least 2 quotations from reputable removal companies.  They will offer you various levels of service which will include a full packing and removal service.

Sorting out furniture and personal effects

Once you have decided where your furniture and personal effects are going, you will need to draw up a detailed list.  Whether your possessions are coming with you to your new home or are going to  family, friends, local charities or auctioneers, all this will need to be organised  along with the delivery logistics.
