On the move

I don’t know what it is about Spring and Summer – maybe it’s the ‘sunny’ weather and lighter nights – but it always brings an influx of people looking to relocate to Cambridge and London from other parts of the UK and, in some cases, overseas. While any move can be challenging, the additional stress caused by not being located in the area you are looking to buy in really can’t be underestimated. Of course, here at Time Lifestyle Management, relocation challenges are some of the ones that we enjoy the most – given that they often bring together a need for many of the major services we offer our clients.

And, really, what better way to house hunt is there than to do it with someone else’s budget?!

Getting the right brief at the start is obviously a major concern – after all, we could be looking for someone’s forever home – but it does mean we get to see some really great properties. And whether we’re providing build or relocation project management, utility management or in some cases searching for new schools in time for the start of the next academic year, it’s always a real buzz to see the professionals, families and students we help settled into their new homes with the minimum of stress and disruption.

Having recently successfully completed three major relocations to London, Cambridge and Derby – an unusual one for us and further proof that we will relocate clients to anywhere – we can’t wait for the next ones to come in. Roll on [the real] summer!
